CWD also known as Chronic Wasting Disease is basically a Mad Cow Disease in the free-ranging deer, elk and/or moose, and according to the CDC has been reported in 24 different States in the United States.
That doesn’t sound bad, BUT…. In locations where the disease is established the CDC tells us that “infection rates may exceed 10 percent(1 in 10) and localized infection rates of more than 25 percent(1 in 4) have been reported. The infection rates among captive deer can be much higher with a rate of 79% (nearly 4 in 5) reported from at least one captive herd.”
So clearly this is spreading, and it is spreading quickly. The disease can also spread into the ground and the food that the deer are eating when it falls into the soil. And the national media have been worried that hunters might eat infected deer which can spread to humans.
This on the heels of a Tennessee man who just passed away from CJD, the human form of mad cow disease showing that these diseases are now spreading to humans. CJD progresses in humans rapidly, most patients die within one year, and there is no known cure.
The New Testament as well as the Old Testament tell us that we should “abstain from blood and from things strangled.” (Acts 15:29) Most supermarket meat today has not had the blood drained from it as the Bible commands, and furthermore, some of the animals such as cattle are even put into a hoist or a position of struggle so that the blood is flowing though the body at high intensity when the animal is cruelly executed. This causes the meat from those animals to be full of blood, which oftentimes is full of diseases.
Animals are suffering under the curse of God. They are dying at an extremely high rate. World Wildlife Fund tells us that more than 50% of marine life have died out in this generation. Commercial fish like Tuna and Mackerel have lost 75% of their stock.
Over just the last couple weeks there have been numerous reports of mass animal deaths:
20th February 2019 – 3,900 birds killed due to avian flu in Plateau State, Nigeria.
18th February 2019 – 600 dead dolphins have washed ashore this year on beaches in France.
18th February 2019 – Mass die off of fish in a river in Orbyhus, Sweden.
15th February 2019 – 12,000 fish found dead in the waters of Antioquia, Colombia.
14th February 2019 – 1,800+ dairy cows dead due to blizzard in Washington State, America.
14th February 2019 – 31,000 cattle dead during past 3 months due to drought in Colombia.
9th February 2019 – 300,000 cattle dead after flooding in Queensland, Australia. 
This gives us an idea of what has happened within just the last month. Let alone the last year.
The Bible gives us the answer as to why much of this is happening. But many have no understanding of the issue.
Knowledge of God lacking- Law FORGOTTEN – Animals Dying
Notice carefully the following verse in Hosea, it tells us we have FORGOTTEN the LAW.
Hos 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
The people today have a lack of knowledge as to why these things are happening. But God’s people know the cause. The bible says that “the curse causeless shall not come” (Proverbs 26:2). We’ll come to the CURSE in a second, but notice the context of Hosea tells us more of our lack of knowledge in verse one he writes:
Hos 4:1 Hear the word of the LORD, ye children of Israel: for the LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.
There is a real lack of knowledge of the law and character of God in the land, and this is why the people are destroyed. But notice in verse 3 what else is happening to the BIRDS, FISH and BEASTS.
Hosea 4:3 Therefore shall the land mourn, and every one that dwelleth therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away.
Isn’t it interesting that the birds, fish, and beasts were prophesied to be taken away because of FORGETTING the law of God, and a true lack of KNOWLEDGE of God.
So if the curse is caused by us FORGETTING THE LAW, what then is God calling us to do?
REMEMBER THE LAW
The very last words of the Old Testament.
Malachi 4:4-6 REMEMBER ye THE LAW of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments… lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.
So its simple, we’ve FORGOTTEN the law, and this is the CAUSE of the CURSE. And God is calling us to REMEMBER the LAW of Moses. It’s very interesting that when you read the 5 books of the law, the most commanded statute in that entire law has to do with not eating BLOOD.
BUT…. It’s also one of the first things commanded to the gentiles in the New Testament. We read:
Acts 15:19-21 Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God: But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood. For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.
So the first thing they were to learn was to not eat these things Moses commanded them to abstain from in the Old Testament, but furthermore, to learn more from Moses in the Synagogues on the Sabbath Day.
Perhaps, this is a call to you to study “the law of Moses…with the statutes and judgments” and then perhaps you many understand more with respect to why the plagues and judgments are about to fall on many people who have been ignorant with respect to the law.
There will be many in this last day blaming God for the judgments that are falling on the earth in this last day. Perhaps even believing that some of their diseases are just natural or hereditary, when there was a perfectly clear answer in the scriptures as to why they were suffering from the disease.
Exodus 15:26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.
In other words, you won’t suffer the judgments if you will diligently hearken to the laws of God, which would include the clean and unclean laws. But we’ve been told by Jesus that there would be wolves in sheeps clothing in this last day. And what would some of these wolves teach? Ezekiel tells us.
Ezekiel 22:26-27 Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them. Her princes in the midst thereof ARE LIKE WOLVES ravening the prey, to shed blood, and to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain.
Ezekiel warned us about the wolves and what they would teach before Jesus said to watch for them. It seems that many of the churches today have FORGOTTEN the LAW and the judgments are falling on many today and they don’t have knowledge of why. (Hosea 4:1-6) But the word has made it clear. And God has told us that instead of forgetting, we must REMEMBER. (Mal 4:4-6) Many will be blaspheming God because of the judgments in this last day, but there will be a people who understand why the plagues are being poured out.
Revelation 16:7 And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.
