Chapter 13: Abominations and 25 Men A Prophecy by Ezekiel

We have seen many of the abominations done by these General Conference leaders, I would like to direct you to the Prophecy given by Ezekiel regarding 25 men who are saying this city(church) is our church.

Ms. White once said “God has ordained that the representatives of His church from all parts of the earth, when assembled in a General Conference, shall have authority. The error that some are in danger of committing is in giving to the mind and judgment of one man, or of a small group of men”-Testimonies, Vol. 9, pp. 260, 261

In Ezekiel 8 we read of a number of abominations being done in the midst of Jerusalem.  And in Ezekiel 9 God commands his angel to “set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.”(Ezekiel 9:4)

EzekielWe are told:  “Mark this point with care: Those who receive the pure mark of truth, wrought in them by the power of the Holy Ghost, represented by a mark by the man in linen, are those “that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done” in the church.”  {Ellen White Maranatha Page 240}

The final abomination that would be happening “in the Church” that God’s people would be sighing and crying at is the following:

Ezekiel 8:15-16  Then said he unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations than these.  (16)  And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD’S house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.

If we had our faces toward the temple we would see the truth about God very plainly.Ezekiel, Daniel and John all saw it in vision.  So did Ellen White:

“I saw a throne, and on it sat the Father and the Son.”(Ellen White Early Writings Page 54)

Rev 22:1  And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of waterfallGod and of the Lamb.

The only way we could come to believe in the Trinity is to turn our backs from the sanctuary.   And so the prophecy is fulfilled.  These men have turned their backs from the sanctuary and are worshipping the gods of Babylon.

We are told that the committee “in the church” who had attempted to rebuild Jerusalem and kick the true worshippers out were “about” 25 in number.

“THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF THIS (SDA) CONFERENCE SHALL BE 25 IN NUMBER…” (1901 General Conference Bulletin, page 379, article 4, section 1, column 1, paragraph 2)

25 men.  This happened in 1901.  In 1901 Ellen wrote the following:

“Yet we hear that the voice of the Conference is the voice of God. Every time I have heard this, I have thought it was almost blasphemy. The voice of the Conference ought to be the voice of God, but it is not, because some in connection with it are not men of faith and prayer, they are not men of elevated principle. There is not a seeking of God with the whole heart; there is not a realization of the terrible responsibility that rests upon those in this institution to mold and fashion minds after the divine similitude.” –Manuscript 37, 1901, p. 8

After the rebuke they turned from their wicked ways for a short time.  There was a restructuring in 1902, however the wickedness continued and the men formed a “new organization” and attempted to say “this land is our land” regarding the heavenly city New Jerusalem.   They truly believed that they were the heirs of the “city”.  But like in Babylon of old the leaders in this organization were slain outside the midst of the city.  (Ezekiel 9:4, 11:10,11, 2 Kings 25:19-21)

Ezekiel 11:10-11 Ye shall fall by the sword; I will judge you in the border of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.  (11)  This city shall not be your caldron, neither shall ye be the flesh in the midst thereof; but I will judge you in the border of Israel:

2 Kings 25:19-21  And out of the city he took an officer that was set over the men of war, and five men of them that were in the king’s presence, which were found in the city, and the principal scribe of the host, which mustered the people of the land, and threescore men of the people of the land that were found in the city:  (20)  And Nebuzaradan captain of the guard took these, and brought them to the king of Babylon to Riblah:  (21)  And the king of Babylon smote them, and slew them at Riblah in the land of Hamath. So Judah was carried away out of their land.

Ecc 1:9  The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.

They were lead outside the city into Babylon in Ezekiel’s day. They were lead outside the “New Jerusalem…the church of the firstborn” into Babylon in our day. There is nothing new under the sun.

ABOUT” Five and Twenty Men

Eze 8:16 And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD’S house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, were ABOUT five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.

It is interesting that there are “about” or “approximately” 25 men who worship the sun toward the east and their backs are to the temple.

Some say it’s 400 now. But actually there is a small group of “About” 25 who still rule over these 400.  Here is a recent statement from the office of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventist in 1990.gc

“Here at the General Conference, the highest decision-making committee, of course, is the General Conference Committee. THERE IS A COMMITTEE THAT WE TERM ‘GENERAL CONFERENCE OFFICERS’ WHICH IS MADE UP OF ABOUT TWENTY-FIVE OR TWENTY-SIX INDIVIDUALS –president, secretaries, and treasurers, with a few other invited individuals. THIS COMMITTEE IS A SCREENING COMMITTEE THAT DETERMINES THE ITEMS THAT NEED TO GO TO THE GENERAL CONFERENCE COMMITTEE.” (Letter from the Office of the President of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventist, B.E. Jacobs, Administrative Assistant to the President, November 1, 1990)

This is fulfilled to the letter “about twenty-five”, “about five and twenty”.

They are looking at the sun.  In ancient Babylon the story is that Nimrod was deified and went to live in the sun, his wife made up a story that after his death he came down from the sun and impregnated her.  She also was deified.   She had a Son whom she named Tammuz who is also mentioned in Ezekiel 8.  He was deified, this is where the first trinity (three gods) originated in ancient Babel (Genesis 11).  And this doctrine has been passed down onto all other religions in the world through all languages.  Different names are given to them in different languages. Professed Christianity has put holy names on it such as “the Father, Son and Holy Spirit”.  But it is still this anciently derived pagan sun worship in disguise.  Holy mixed with pagan, the mixed wine of Babylon.(Daniel 5).

The names of the Trinity in different languages around the world. Some of the names vary:

Babylon: Nimrod Tammuz Simerimas
Egypt: Osiris Horus Isis (Ra)
Greece: Zeus Apollo Athena
India: Brahama Vishnu Shiva
Rome: Jupiter Mars Venus
Phoenicians: El – Bacchus – Astarte Babylon:
Belus – Tammuz – Rhea, Ishtar
Assyria: Ninus – Hercules – Beltis
China: Pan-Ku – Yi – Heng-O, MaTsoopo
Mexico: Teotl – Quetzalcoatl – Coatlicue
Scandinavia: Odin – Balder – Frigg, Freyia
NZ Maori: Tarang – Maui – Tiki-Tiki

Chrisianity today putting Holy names on pagan gods call them “the father, son, and holy spirit”.

The Trinity is nowhere to be seen when we look to the Sanctuary.  The people who sigh and cry at these abominations are those who will receive the seal of God.
