Whosoever is Born Again of God and of Spirit does not Commit Sin - Having The Straight Testimony.

The straight testimony will cause a shaking.  I expect a shaking to come from the following series as we expose a major deception among God’s professed people today and declare the true Testimony of Jesus Christ.

“I asked the meaning of the shaking I had seen, and was shown that it would be caused by the straight testimony called forth by the counsel of the True Witness to the Laodiceans. This will have its effect upon the heart of the receiver, and will lead him to exalt the standard and pour forth the straight truth. Some will not bear this straight testimony. They will rise up against it, and this will cause a shaking among God's people.”--1T 181

As we continue some will rise against this testimony.  This is the testimony of Jesus Christ.    There is a major deception being taught in our churches today.  One that teaches that after we are born again or converted we continue to sin willfully and knowingly.  That we continue to willfully violate the law of God after coming to knowledge of the truth.

"The new birth is a rare experience in this age of the world. This is the reason why there are so many perplexities in the churches. Many, so born again - born of god - new birthmany, who assume the name of Christ are unsanctified and unholy. They have been baptized, but they are buried alive. Self did not die, and there-fore they did not rise to newness of life in Christ." 6BC 1075

Have you been born again?  This might be a question that you have to ask yourself after the lies of our preachers today are exposed in this segment.

1Jn 3:9  Whosoever is BORN of God doth not COMMIT sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he CANNOT sin, because he is born of God.

This is the new birth.  This is not after years of practice at becoming a good Christian.  This is not something that only Christ could do.  This is the testimony of the baby Christian who has just been “born”.    Who has just been converted, who has just been baptized.

This is the testimony of every “born again” “born of God” “born of spirit” believer.   This is not the testimony of an aged believer.   Let me read the following testimony.

"Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him; and he can not sin, because he is born of God." The standard which is to test every doctrine, every theory, every profession, is the law of God. "Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin,"--break the law of Jehovah. If a man is born of God, he will respect the principles of the divine government, and will not WILLFULLY transgress the law of God in thought, or word, or action. "Being BORN AGAIN, not of corruptible SEED, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever." "Of his own will BEGAT he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first-fruits of his creatures." Jesus prayed that his disciples might be sanctified through the truth, and added, "Thy word is truth." [Signs of the Times, April 30, 1896 Paragraph 1]

When you have been “born again” you do not “commit” sin.  But furthermore you CANNOT commit sin.  Let’s look at this carefully now before some go to an extreme.  We need to examine the word “commit”.   If you noticed in that last quote she said “will not WILLFULLY transgress the law of God”.  The word “commit” means to give into.  To do it knowingly and willfully.  It is short for “commitment”.   You have to make a “commitment” to “willfully” and “knowingly” violate God’s law.

The born again believer will not willfully or knowingly violate the law of God.  This is not saying that he doesn’t ignorantly violate the law of God.  Some for years observed Sunday by faith.  In their hearts they weren’t fully convicted on the matter.  They didn’t willfully and knowingly rebel against God and his law.

Heb 10:26  For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

After you know something and still do it, then your sin remains.

Joh 9:41  Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.

Sin remains when you know and don’t do.  Then there is no covering for your soul.  You are lost even if you’ve been told you are saved by grace.  That is a great deception being taught to multitudes by false watchmen and dumb dogs who will not bark.  God’s grace covers our sins when we trust him and follow him by faith.  Not when we willfully and knowingly violate his law.

God’s true children by faith live in what they KNOW.  They are DOERS of the word by FAITH.  The bible says…

Rom 14:23  …for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

So in other words the person who is born of God would never willfully or knowingly violate the law of God.  Not only that but it says “he can not sin”.

Jas 4:17  Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

Now 1 John 3:9 again could be taken out of context and must be understood in how it is presented.   Technically it was possible for Jesus Christ himself to sin.  Jesus Christ was born of Spirit from birth.  Adam was born of that Spirit from birth and was not born in a fallen state and did not have to be born again until he fell.   He sinned.  So therefore it is technically possible for a born of Spirit believer to sin.  But once he does this he is no longer born of God.

Let’s not confuse the flesh of Christ with his mind however.  Christ had sinful fallen flesh which was subject to death, it got tired, weak, and suffered from pain.   However regarding the mind, he was born with the spiritual mind like his brethren who have been born again. (See Heb 2:11, 14-17) He was born again of spirit from the womb.   His brethren are those who do the will of God.  His brethren are those who are born again.  (See Matt 12:49-50)

Mat 1:20  But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

You and me and most everyone else must be born again of Spirit.  You are born with a Carnal or Fleshly Mind.  We are not born from the womb of the Holy Spirit.

Joh 3:3  Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Joh 3:6  That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Joh 3:7  Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

When a Child is born, except in rare instances where the parent is responsible, that child is born needing to be born again.  That child is born with a carnal mind, and that child needs to be “born again”.

Jesus spoke these words to Nicodemus, a leader in Israel telling him “ye must be born again.” That could easily hurt someone’s pride, especially one who is a leader in the Church, but it’s the truth today, just as it was in the day of Nicodemus.  Today we have many leaders in modern Israel that must be “born again”.  They claim to be “born again” but yet they continue to willfully and knowingly and secretly violate the law of God.

The bible says the person who is “born again”  “can not sin”.   What does that mean?  Well technically you can sin.  Technically you could chop off the head of your child with an axe.  But it’s so heinous to you that you truly could not do it.  That’s what it means when it say’s “can not sin”.   Sin is so heinous to the born again Christian it would be like a mother killing her own baby.  It’s possible, but she could never bring herself to do it.

Are you born again?  Let’s look at another quote.

"He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him" [1 John 2:4]. This includes all who claim to have a knowledge of God, and to keep His commandments, but who do not manifest this by good works. They will receive according to their deeds. "Whosoever abideth in Him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen Him, neither known Him" [1 John 3:6]. This is addressed to all church members, including the members of the Seventh-day Adventist churches. "Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as He is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother" [1 John 3:7-10].

All who claim to be Sabbath-keeping Adventists, and yet continue in sin, are liars in God's sight. Their sinful course is counterworking the work of God. They are leading others into sin. The word comes from God to every member of our churches, "And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed. Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright. For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected; for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears" [Heb. 12:13-17]. [MR vol. 19, pages 176-177] [Quoted from Letter 35]

If you continue in sin, you can call yourself a Seventh Day Adventist all day long.  But the truth is, you are not a Seventh Day Adventist.  This is how we know the Children of God and the Children of the Devil.

Some might be saying right now.  Yes, I understand this but every once in a while I fall and do those things that I know not to do.   And they will quote Paul in Romans 7 when he is speaking of his experience and struggle to accept by faith the Spiritual life and no longer walk after the flesh.   They don’t understand that this is life before conversion.  Before being born again of Spirit.

Paul talks about his experience in Romans 7.  He is talking about the old man.  Remember Jesus said “That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”  There are 2 births here in the passage.  This man that Paul speaks about in Romans 7 must be born again.   Notice how he talks about this old life.

Rom 7:5  For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.

That which is born of flesh is flesh, this man who was in the flesh must be born of spirit.  Then he goes onto his story about his struggle.

Rom 7:14  For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
Rom 7:15  For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.
Rom 7:16  If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.
Rom 7:17  Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
Rom 7:18  For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
Rom 7:19  For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.

Doesn’t that sound like a struggle we’ve all went through?  Maybe many of us are still going through this struggle.  Marvel not that I say unto you if this is your struggle “you must be born again”.  If you read above carefully you’ll notice Paul is talking about walking after the flesh and still has a carnal mind.  We’ll notice as he continues that he is delivered from this struggle.

Paul doesn’t stop in Romans 7.  He continues to Romans 8 and walking after the Spirit, being born again of the Holy Spirit and walking in newness of life.   The Spirit is the new birth.  This man needs to be delivered from the flesh.  Born again of Spirit.

Rom 7:24  O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
Rom 7:25  I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
Rom 8:1  There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

In Galatians Paul talks about the Fruit of the Spirit and the fate of the flesh and tells us that it has been crucified, killed, dead.   When the old man died, the new man, Christ Jesus was able to live in him.(See Gal 2:20)

Gal 5:24  And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. Gal 5:25  If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

There is the second birth.  Born again of the Holy Spirit.  And does Paul feel condemned like he did in Romans 7?  No, because the person who is born of God no longer commits sin and no longer is guilty and condemned, but is forgiven, set free, has liberty.  He no longer has to hide in the bush or run from his God, but he can face him.  He is no longer sold to sin, no longer a slave of the old man, but he has been reborn of the Holy Spirit.

The flesh has no power over his mind.  And he no longer will say “I am carnal, sold under sin” but rather we continue reading chapter 8 we read.

Rom 8:6  For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Rom 8:7  Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
Rom 8:8  So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
Rom 8:9  But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
Rom 8:10  And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

Are you carnal still?  The carnal mind hates God and is not subject to the law of God, cannot please God, and will continue to break God’s law and “commit sin” according to these passages. It would be odd for Paul to say “I am carnal still”.  Many might be saying “I don’t hate God” so I can’t be carnal.    They could be saying “I love God” like the man in Romans 7 struggling to do God’s will.

In the mind many will say “I love God” but yet they have yet to truly love God and they are still not fully seeing God’s love.  God is faithful, he never lies, and when we believe him and his promises and walk in them by faith we will know he loves us so much.

They that are in the flesh cannot please God.  But the testimony of the Father towards Jesus Christ was “This is my son in whom I am well pleased” and furthermore the testimony of Jesus Christ was “I do always the will of the Father”.    Is this our testimony?  This testimony will cause a shaking.

The center of this entire message is this.  “Christ in you, the hope of glory”(Col 1:27).  “The Lord is that spirit and where the spirit of the Lord is there is liberty”(2 Cor 3:17).

Liberty, freedom from being a slave “sold under sin”.   It all is manifest in our life after beholding our God and his love for us and being able to trust his promises.

“The reason why the churches are weak and sickly and ready to die is that the enemy has brought influences of a discouraging nature to bear upon trembling souls. He has sought to shut Jesus from their view as the Comforter, as one who reproves, who warns, who admonishes them, saying, “This is the way, walk ye in it.” (Ellen White, Review & Herald, August 26, 1890, also in Reflecting Christ, page 21)

Christ in you.  Christ our righteousness.  The Comforter.  The reason why the churches are ready to die is they don’t know God.  I pray you will go to the links provided and read some of the studies.  Get to know your God.  Have your heart broken today.

“A knowledge of God is the foundation of all true education and of all true service. It is the only real safeguard against temptation. It is this alone that can make us like God in character.”  [Ministry of Healing Page 409-410]

The General Conference was “NEVER” the Seventh Day Adventist Church

What is the church according to scripture?

Many today have confined God’s church to an earthly organization.  There are many different organizations that call themselves “God’s church”.SDA logo   But what we want to look at is one particular organization that was NOT considered “the church” until recently by a few who have a misconception of the term “God’s church”.   That organization is the General Conference of Seventh Day Adventists.

God’s church is not confined to an earthly organization.

Heb 12:23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

Gods church is not confined to an 8*10 box built by men. For us to take that title “God's church” and apply it to a club or organization on earth is blasphemy.  The church of the firstborn is written in heaven.

Why was the General Conference organization created?  It was designed to aid in the work of the gospel.  It was designed to help the church.  It was never the church, but rather an organization that was designed to help the church.  It still is not the church according to scripture and never will be since the church of the firstborn is written in heaven.  We can’t confine the church to a small organization built by a few men.

Read this testimony.  And please note that our pioneers did not call the General Conference “the church”.   They called it an organization that was part of the church.

The General Conference Organization Was Part of the Church

Please read this carefully:

“At times, when a small group of men entrusted with the general management of the work have, in the name of the General Conference, sought to carry out unwise plans and to restrict God's work, I have said that I could no longer regard the voice of the General Conference, represented by these few men, as the voice of God. But this is not saying that the decisions of a General Conference composed of an assembly of duly appointed, representative men from all parts of the field, should not be respected. God has ordained that the representatives of His church from all parts of the earth, when assembled in a General Conference, shall have authority. The error that some are in danger of committing, is in giving to the mind and judgment of one man, or of a small group of men, the full measure of authority and influence that God has vested in His church, in the judgment and voice of the General Conference assembled to plan for the prosperity and advancement of His work.
When this power, which God has placed in the church, is accredited wholly to one man, and he is invested with the authority to be judgment for other minds, then the true Bible order is changed. Satan's efforts upon such a man's mind would be most subtle, and sometimes well-nigh overpowering; for the enemy would hope that through his mind he could affect many others. "Testimonies for the Church," Vol. IX, pages 257-261.

Now if we have read that carefully, we see a danger.  She say’s that there is an “authority and influence that God has vested in his church” and the danger is giving this full measure of authority to this organization known as the General Conference which was “in the church”.  This organization was never the church but rather an organization which “God…placed in the church”.   To re-iterate:

The General Conference was not and is not “the church”.

Never in the all the pages of Sister Ellen Whites writing’s do we see the words “General Conference Church”.   So at times in her day she could say “I could no longer regard the General Conference as the voice of God”.

This is not saying that organization is not a good thing.  It’s very necessary.  God is not a God of disorder.  But this organization is never to be called “God’s church”.   The church is much broader than any organization on earth can ever be.   God’s church covers heaven and earth and its base is in heaven.

Gal 4:26  But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

Yes, it’s location “is above”, and this is the mother of God’s children.  While Babylon and her daughters are earthly organizations which have taken the title of “Gods church” and brought it down from its heavenly position and they have applied it to their man made organizations whose builder and maker is men.

Builder and Maker God Through Christ

Abraham sought out a heavenly whose builder and maker is God. (Heb 11:10).  A place of worship that was not made with hands.

Zec 6:12-13  And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD:  Even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.

This temple or church is not built by man, but Christ is the builder alone.  Neither is it built with hands.  Stephen had to point this out to the Jews as the Jews thought that the church was an earthly organization.

Act 7:48-49  Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet, Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest

The temple of the most high is not a temple made with hands.  We are not the builder of the church or tabernacle.  The temple is built without hands.

Mar 14:58  We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.

Now, Christ is the only builder of the church.  And no man can build this church.  It is him alone.   He will build it.  And it is not a temple made with hands.  It is not some church down the street that calls itself “God’s church”.

Heb 9:11  But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;

Where is the church located?  We already were told:

Heb 12:22 -23 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company ofangels angels, To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

Christ is the invisible head of his invisible body.

Eph 1:22  And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

This has reference alone to his church.  He is the head; we are the body, the members in particular.  And he fills us with the fullness of him, and therefore the church is not filled with men who are unconverted, but rather men who have converted.  These men may be defective, but they are still God’s church.   Defects are in it’s members, and the stones need polishing.

1Co 12:27  Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

1Co 6:15-17  Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.  What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.  But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

So therefore God’s church is a spiritual body.  And except we have spiritual eyes we will not see the church.  And many because they must be born again and cannot see the kingdom of God will desire a visible church as well as a visible head.

Desiring a Visible Head (Give us a King)

Back in the day of Samuel the people of Israel came to Samuel desiring an earthly king.

1Sa 8:5  And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.

The Israelite’s did not recognize Christ as the invisible head of the church, thus they wanted to be like the other nations and they desired a visible head.  Today, like Israel of old our people instead of recognizing Christ as the head of the church have taken the General Conference out of its position of servant and put it into the position of the King.

They have through carnal eyes not seen the head of the church and thus taken members of the body, and placed them at the head of the body.

The people of the Conference (modern Israel) have requested a visible head.   The reason we require a visible head is because we must be born again, we cannot see the invisible head.

The World Doesn’t see the Head, But You See Him

The world doesn’t see their head as Christ.  “The world seeth him not, neither knoweth him”(John 14:17).

Looking through the eyes of the world the people in the conference don’t see Christ as the visible head, thus they call the Conference the head.  But there is only one head to the church.

Mat 23:8  But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.

In putting more heads on the church, they have thus created a monster.   This monster has done exactly what sister White warned about in seeking to control the work.

A Monster Created

So what have we done?Vatican

  1. We mistakenly assigned the title “God’s church” to an earthly organization.
  2. We mistakenly assigned the headship of “God’s church” to an earthly organization.
  3. We have left off the invisible head Christ
  4. We requested a visible head in the General Conference.
  5. We requested that conference to be King over us. Thus putting more heads on the church and creating a monster.
  6. The Conference assumed this role and now considers itself “God’s church” when in fact it was only a part of “God’s church”

Finally after having this power and after blasphemously accepting the term “God’s church” and applying it to an earthly organization.  They have taken our God given name “Seventh Day Adventists” and trademarked it with the United States(Second Beast of Revelation 13) and thus created an image of the first beast of Rome.

They are using this trademark to force those who come out of her to give up the name “Seventh Day Adventist”.

“Romanists have persisted in bringing against Protestants the charge of heresy and willful separation from the true church. But these accusations apply rather to themselves. They are the ones who laid down the banner of Christ and departed from "the faith which was once delivered unto the saints." Jude 3.”  {GC 51.2}

Romanist Adventists persist in bringing the accusation against Protestant Adventists the charge or heresy and willful separation from the true church.  But these accusations apply rather to themselves.  They are the ones who laid down the banner of Christ and departed from "the faith which was once delivered unto the saints".   Gods true church has not laid down the banner.  Merely an earthly organization has assumed the role of the true church, claiming to be Christ on earth.

The church is above, and it is not an earthly organization.  The roll is in heaven.  And the General Conference has put itself in place of God.  It is in a blasphemous position as there is one head to the church.  There is much more to be said about this.  This is merely an outline.

Many cannot see the invisible church of God, and this is why they require a visible church.  Jesus once said:

Joh 3:3  Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

We cannot see the church through carnal eyes.  The church is heavenly.  And where two or three are gathered in his name, there he is among them.   Many will desire an earthly organization for their carnal eyes since they have yet to see through spiritual eyes the Kingdom of God.  They will create new organizations and call them “Gods church” not knowing that God’s church is not confined to an 8x10 box, but it covers heaven and earth.

What a mistaken view we have taken in regards to the church.  God forgive us.  Let us come to your temple, on your foundation, without hands who’s builder and maker is God.

Mat 16:18  And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

He is the builder, not us.  Built on the foundation which is Christ, not built with hammer and nails.

Heb 3:3-6  For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house. For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God. And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after; But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

We are his house.  Not because we are part of an organization.  Ask Luther, or Wesley, or any of the other reformers.  They came to understand that the church was not an organization or building made with hands.

God has a church. It is not the great cathedral, neither is it the national establishment, neither is it the various denominations; it is the people who love God and keep His commandments. “Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them” (Matt. 18:20).Where Christ is even among the humble few, this is Christ’s church, for the presence of the High and Holy One who inhabiteth eternity can alone constitute a church” (The Upward Look, p. 315).

It was prophecied that a “new organization” would be created if we did not learn our lesson from history.  This organization would not be built on the rock.

"The enemy of souls has sought to bring in the supposition that a great reformation was to take place among Seventh-day Adventists, and that this reformation would consist in giving up the doctrines which stand as the pillars of our faith, and engaging in a process of reorganization. Were this reformation to take place, what would result? The principles of truth that God in His wisdom has given to the remnant church, would be discarded. Our religion would be changed. The fundamental principles that have sustained the work for the last fifty years would be accounted as error. A new organization would be established. Books of a new order would be written. A system of intellectual philosophy would be introduced. The founders of this system would go into the cities, and do a wonderful work. The Sabbath of course, would be lightly regarded, as also the God who created it. Nothing would be allowed to stand in the way of the new movement. The leaders would teach that virtue is better than vice, but God being removed, they would place their dependence on human power [such as protecting their corporate wealth with a trademark], which, without God, is worthless. Their foundation would be built on the sand, and storm and tempest would sweep away the structure.' Selected Messages, vol. 1, pp. 204, 205.

This “New Organization” has been developed by the General Conference.

Christ is not God in personality nor identity (Ellen White)

This study requires a careful read. It is my belief that too many have merely surface read what is written in the SOP without carefully analyzing Ellen Whiteand studying what is really written. This article is not saying Christ is not God in respect to his divinity, substance or form, as we believe he was "begotten in the express image of Gods person"(Ellen White, The Signs of the Times, May 30, 1895) and by birth posesses these attributes and the nature of the father from "earliest times. God had promised to give the First-born of heaven to save the sinner.” {The Desire of Ages, p. 51}

Those who seek to remove the old landmarks are not holding fast; they are not remembering how they have received and heard. Those who try to bring in theories that would remove the pillars of our faith concerning the sanctuary or concerning the personality of God or of Christ, are working as blind men. They are seeking to bring in uncertainties and to set the people of God adrift without an anchor.” {E. G. White, Manuscript Release No.760, p. 9} 1905

Many have come to believe that God and Christ are the same personality, the same individual.  They fail to distinguish between God and Christ.  The Trinity doctrine is the main doctrine that teaches that Christ is God himself in personality.  Ellen White said that those who have removed the pillars of our faith and have believed such doctrines are working as blind men. This article does not deny the fact that Christ was God, but explains how he was God. This topic requires study to show yourself approved.

Jesus Christ is not the Lord God almighty in personality

"But although Christ's glory was for a time veiled and eclipsed by His assuming humanity, yet He did not cease to be God when He became man...The man Christ Jesus was not the Lord God Almighty, yet Christ and the Father are one." (Ellen White SDA Bible Commentary, vol.5 p.1129)...

Notice the first part says Christ was God. This is a reference to his nature which was clothed with the nature of humanity. Regarding his pre-existent nature Christ was fully God.(John 1:1, Phi 2:6, Hebrews 1)  Christ was given his divine(God) nature by his father who is the only true God in personality, individuality and identity. (John 17:3, John 20:17, 1 Cor 8:6)

The second part of the quote says "Christ Jesus was not the Lord God Almighty". This is a reference to his personality and identity.  Christ is NOT the Lord God Almighty in identity.

Only one being in the universe is identified as the Lord God Almighty and that is the father. Though Jesus Christ came in his father’s name and as the angel of Jehovah in the OT and also spoke on behalf of Jehovah as Jehovah’s representative. He was not Jehovah himself. Jehovah is his father. He is the mediator between our one God and us.

"The Scriptures clearly indicate the relation between God and Christ, and they bring to view as clearly the personality and individuality of each. [Hebrews 1:1-5 quoted.] God is the Father of Christ; Christ is the Son of God. To Christ has been given an exalted position. He has been made equal with the Father. All the counsels of God are opened to His Son." (Ellen White, Testimonies for the Church, vol. 8, page 268)

So you can see there Christ is not God and God is not Christ in reference to identity, individuality and personality. They are two completely separate individuals. We have to recognize the difference between the nature of Christ being God, and Christ not being the one true God in identity, individuality and personality.   This is an important doctrine.

"The Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of the Father, is truly God in infinity, but not in personality." (Ellen White UL 367 )

“Christ is one with the father, but Christ and God are two distinct personages”(RH June 1, 1905)

"Here we might mention the Trinity, which does away the personality of God, and of his Son Jesus Christ”(James White, December 11, 1855, Review & Herald, vol. 7, no. 11, page 85, par. 16)

"The doctrine of the Trinity which was established in the church by the council of Nice, A. D. 325. This doctrine destroys the personality of God, and his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. The infamous, measures by which it was forced upon the church which appear upon the pages of ecclesiastical history might well cause every believer in that doctrine to blush." (J. N. Andrews, March 6, 1855, Review & Herald, vol. 6, no. 24, page 185)

1Co 8:6  But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

Php 2:11  And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord(NOT GOD), to the glory of God the Father.(NOT GOD THE TRINITY)

Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God(the Lord God almighty the father), and the Word was God(in respect to his divine nature, which he possessed by inheritance).

How To Make Rice Milk – The Recipe

Ingredients and Supplies:Rice milk recipe
1 cup uncooked organic long grain brown rice
8 cups water for cooking
More water for diluting
1 teaspoon salt
Glass mason jars for storage
A Blender
Mesh strainer

Thoroughly wash the rice.
Put 8 cups of water in a big pot and bring it to a boil over high heat.
Pour in the rice.
Cover the pot and lower the heat to let the water simmer.
Cook for 3 hours.

You will end up with something that looks a bit like a soupy rice pudding. Add the salt.

In batches, fill your blender halfway with the rice mixture and halfway with water. Blend until very smooth. Strain twice through a fine mesh strainer into a mason jar. Continue on with the rest of the milk until you’re finished, filling jars and screwing the lids on good and tight.

Even with the extra water, the homemade rice milk ends up thicker than the product you might be used to if you’ve always purchased Rice Dream Rice Milk. It’s more like rice cream! You may want to dilute it further at the time of serving it. Just add a bit more water until it’s the desired consistency.

Optional Additions To Your Rice Milk Recipe

A look at the label of Rice Dream Rice Milk reveals that it contains oil. Oil does make things creamier, and we like to add about 2 Tablespoons of organic sunflower oil to our batch of milk.

We also like to add about 4 Tablespoons of Maple Syrup to our batch of milk, as we are still used to the slightly sweeter taste of the Rice Dream product than what you get from homemade. It’s not a big difference…just a little one.

Making a blended rice and nut milk is a cinch. At the blending stage, add some blanched raw almonds or hazelnuts, or some cashews for an even richer, creamier, more nutritious milk.

See the following article for more info on what is wrong with the manufactured rice dream and why it is better to make our own.

2Pe 1:2-4 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
