Isaiah 48:11

If we read it in its context we will see that God was speaking to people. He will not take his glory (honor, copious, splendor) from his covenant people and give to another. If you read verse 10 it states: “Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction. verse 11 For mine own sake, even for mine own sake will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another”. He was not speaking of another god, but in context another people.

This is logical for Jesus plainly tells us of where his glory comes from? John 17:22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

17:24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

So God the Father shares his glory with His Son.
